If you get Covid... Be a log until you a testing clear.
Then stop the moment you feel AT ALL tired. Reading, and you get tired... put the book down.
Going to the mailbox and you get tired, sit your ass down.
It sucks, but it sucks less than Long Covid.

If you're in the US and have been being told that you aren't eligible for a COVID vaccine/booster, here's this which may, but by no means definitely will, help:

Sadly, I fully expect that "Law enforcement and property owners can ask people to temporarily remove those masks to verify their identity." will be used in a discriminatory way.

Biden in NC today: "I know I'm not a young man. I don't walk as easy as I used to. I don't speak as smoothly as I used to ... [but] I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong. I know how to do this job ... I know like millions of Americans know, when you get knocked down you get back up!"

The North Carolina House overrode the Governor’s veto of the bill to criminalize masks.
There is an exemption but it may be too vague to protect mask-wearers from arrest and illness.
Now the bill will go the Senate where Republicans also have a “supermajority.”

New privacy policy is in place for Meta today so we've switched our Instagram and Threads accounts over to Private to prevent use of Michael's art in training AI.
We're considering next steps which includes deleting existing content there and leaving the platform altogether.

I went to a small indie music venue several years back and a black metal band was playing their very first gig. They closed with their covers of "Where There's a Whip" and "Down, Down to Goblin Town". It was awesome.

The bill now heads back to the state legislature, where the Republicans will likely use their supermajority to override the veto next week.

Go you! What you had was boring (in format and presentation), what you're getting is not boring, and they're at least equal in utility, meaning they're both reading copies and not "art object for display but not use".

I’ve done this myself, although not this specific book. I try to limit the number of copies I have - so if I get a new edition of a book I already have, I try to let go of the other copy. Doesn’t always happen, but I do try.
