“The justices accidentally, repeatedly referenced laughing gas in a disastrous ruling before declaring that judges know better than agency regulators” www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...
These articles need to never stop. This court is a joke, forever and ever. These are barbarians coming to wreck our government; de-governwnce is their goal. Just on and on.
I'm so glad I don't live in the States. We certainly have our warts & bumps here (biggest wart currently, being PP), but honestly! There's lots to love about the U.S., for sure, but man, the wrong folks seem to have the mics, these past years. If it wasn't so disgusting, it would be funny.
Nitrous oxide *is* *one* of the nitrogen oxides requiring control as a pollutant. Yes, the Court had it partially wrong, but so did Rolling Stone.
Of course, only one of the two is trying to place itself in control of the USA's environmental policy.
One thing that is no laughing matter is that this court's softball pitches are being delivered to them over the plate by teams of hard right hurlers representing the work of think tanks bent on dismantling the U.S. Government bolt by bolt.
Irony died with Stare Decisis. The case that resulted in “Chevron” was brought before SCOTUS during the RayGun reign by Neil Gorsuch’s mommy when she headed EPA cuz she thought her “experts” could stifle environmentalists. Neil voted to overturn one of mommy’s crowning achievements. R.I.P. mommy G.
TFG doesn't have to win an election, his 6 SCJ r doing the work 4 him & Bannon & Proj '25. U have 6 pple controlling all pple, mkng decisions they know nothing about. They will take contraception & Mifepristone, will allow more air & water pollution . This court is the best thing 2 happen 2 repubs.
Their demonstrated subject matter incompetence (among other deficiencies) renders the whole opinion void.
Everyone should disregard it and go back to whatever they were doing. Ideally the agencies should do *more* enforcement, starting with the supreme court's highest-level donors.
Big Judiciary power grab. Now which judge hips are elected and which are appointed.
Plus we are basically the Soviet Union (60's-70's?) when they exchanged science for political power.
When "Agency Regulators" make rules and de-facto laws that are based on things that are either subjective or factually untrue, it's kind of hard to justify them basically being able to make laws.
Better of two evils.
