We know we don't have much time left so we've been spending a lot of time with America for its last birthday. Plenty of hugs, taking pictures. My niece is in film school, and got the camera out and interviewed it about what it was like growing up, just trying to record memories while we have them.

Yeah, as a Native, I relate. Some tribes are trapped in horrible states which actively conspire against them, some which are indifferent, and others which seek to actually help tribal nations on occasion… but at no time has the United States ever been an honest broker with Indian nations.

I get what you’re saying, but just look at how they treated Bernie Sanders fans when they blame them for Hillary Clinton‘s loss, even though he endorsed her. She was a historically, terrible candidate, and they cannot admit that even now. Many of them are hoping she runs as a replacement for Biden.
