Biden should leave the race for the simple reason that he will not be able to run as vigorous and aggressive campaign as needs to be run. And while Harris/another replacement offers no guarantee of winning, it's still way better to go down swinging than to go down sleepwalking.

this case against biden's resignation makes sense. i do think that if biden decides to step away from reelection, he should explicitly say that he is doing this because House Republicans are too corrupt to confirm a replacement for Harris.

My only worry is I think he misstates the 25th Amendment for Harris selecting a new VP. It's both chambers not just the Senate. Which would Johnson and Co. allow her to pick a new VP? Otherwise totally on board with everythign else

Keeping Trump out of the White House isn’t the only thing that needs doing and it isn’t enough to solve all problems facing the country & world but if it isn’t done then all those problems get exponentially worse in ways I don’t even know how to express and it scares me when people pretend otherwise
