He says it weighs 4kgs as if it is a sack of potatoes so I guess the digests bit just follows. But I think we all know Luxon will not read any of it and it sounds like Doocey won't either. They'll just ask a minion to give them a few bullet points on a single sheet of paper.

The pollster has said some of the 13 predicted seats for Reform are very marginal so it may not be that many. My main worry is there seems to be increased support for racist and other far right policies.

Reform spent a huge amount on social media and, like here in NZ, it has a major effect on the majority of people who don't look at policy or fact check claims. Billionaires with vested interests are financing the far right.

Probably I spent too many years living in Vienna seeing how they did housing to see Bishop's rules-free, for-profit, developer-led housing as solution to NZ's housing problems. If he was really serious he would, at a minimum, have expanded Kainga Ora's builds & LGWM, Instead, he closed them down.

They will reduce the number by cancelling benefits for ridiculous reasons, just like they will reduce public housing waiting lists by limiting the criteria to qualify. It is the Tory way.
