Credit to Yaccarino and her PR team for getting the dupes at the NYT to fall for this as a good news story. They didn’t even bother to write their own sentence. 65% of what is back from what? Why did it fall? No real reporter would allow this sentence under their byline.

It’s even more embarrassing that the sentence (although a different more confusing version) makes it AGAIN into the same short piece. A 65% increase in “reservations” as a number of “active advertisers”? Is this the same figure but stated diff? Something else? Notice nobody notes numbers.
