I signed up for a renters insurance policy after I thought I was dropped from my previous one and couldn't reach anybody regarding it yesterday... Ended up paying way more.. Today I get a charge from the original plan saying it's still active, so I had to cancel the new one. 🫠

What this article leaves out is that if you hand your unlocked phone to a police officer, they can legally search it. Unless companies develop a method that allows you to show officers insurance cards and driver license without unlocking the rest of your phone, don't.
