3. Pierce also seems to make much out of the FTC's defeats. He does so without acknowledging the possibility that maybe, just maybe, the fed cts today are regularly churning out unhinged and unprincipled opinions--not to mention, for those who care, out of step w majoritarian preferences.

2. His post suggests Khan views Amazon is evil and demostrates "animosity towards Amazon."
Do we say Jack Smith views Trump as evil or has animosity toward Trump? No, of course not.

My man has long held incredibly intense views on Lina Khan. His latest:
1/ Long criticized for a student note (amid unsupported allegations she therefore locked-in a view of Amazon)...
Khan's now being questioned for... departing from her student note.
(Did I mention it was a student note?)

Awesome news, though baffled why it's going to take nearly 3 years to implement.
If there's a covered entity so small or financially crushed that it can't immediately re-designate one of its restrooms gender neutral, allow that entity a temporary waiver & allocate $ to accelerate compliance.

I'm coming in late to this "conversation" but
1. UCLA Law has lost incredibly talent and distinguished left-of-center scholars over the past few years. (We run some risk of losing a couple more.) Why no speculation that *they* were pushed out or that UCLA is anti-lefty?

My takeaway from the new
@propublica.bsky.social reporting:
Essentially, the Koch Network offers a tiered membership rewards program for super-rich conservatives, and Clarence Thomas is one of the rewards available for the right price.

Seriously, read this Guardian article they cite, not just about the gross anti-Black incidents but also the passages about how racial discrimination and anti-Black animus could be (and were) exploited by the Vietcong to undermine American morale www.theguardian.com/theguardian/...

If I were suing West Point, I wouldn't use a news story detailing horrific & systemic racism & an USAF pamphlet saying things could have been much, much worse to insist courts should reject military deference & prohibit race-conscious policies.
But then again I don't have 5-6 justices in the bag.

Trump said that if he were elected, Roe would be overturned "automatically." His SCOTUS appointees delivered. Within weeks, the Indiana Attorney General was attempting to suspend the license of a physician who provided an abortion to a ten-year old. Please stop this sh*t.

We're now at the stage when super-duper extremists are supplanting the super extremists who themselves outflanked the extremists.
