Something grimly funny about how like 10 years ago, every harmless crank who believed in stuff like flat earth and fake moon landing would either be radicalized into antisemitism or gradually revealed it, but now all these people are open antisemites and they stumble into flat earth
Why isn’t she living in an isolated cabin and churning her own butter and making clothes from beaver pelts and chopping wood with a rusty axe?
Because even all that takes some level of fucking SCIENCE to accomplish.
The vast stupidity is astounding in both scope and breadth.
I for a while could not fathom how she existed & supported herself.
She's married to George Farmer, who is worth about $250M with an annual income of about $40M.
I assume you've run across this by now? (including the fantastic title card about halfway through, "They're all going to QAnon" about how flat-earth influencers were losing their audiences) www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTfh...

I’m thinking Secretay of Energy, or maybe head of NASA are in her future.
i've steered my research into examining the intersection of overt prejudice with non-prejudiced science denial and pseudoscience because of that observation. "gosh, there sure are a lot of racists who think evolution isn't real. what's up with that"

Not sure which sounded more ridiculous "round earther" or "cult of science". That this unstable women with more mental issues than character has been elevated to any height is beyond reason.
I encountered the "cult of science" thing a few years back: it was a guy who I thought was a rational person who revealed himself to be a libertarian and then started into this "cult of science" and "sciencism*" stuff. I ended up blocking him.
*Meant to make science sound like a religion.
Once you're addicted to your friends coming up with unlikely excuses to avoid hanging out and your family desperately changing the subject over and over again you're always on the hunt for that next Crazy fix.
