The pretense is always that learning about the history of racism will make (or is even MEANT to make) white kids feel guilty, which is just not how normal people react to things that happened before they were born. What they’re really afraid of is that it will make them feel outraged.

Literally the best advice I've ever heard given to freelancers is if doubling your rates costs you half your clients, that's a good thing. It means you're making the same amount of money, with more time to dedicate to either yourself or finding new sources of income.

So the more I see of this, the more I respect it. The Cybertruck is so unrelentingly and singularly absurd that the only sane aesthetic response is to heap yet more absurdity on top. This exudes a level of "you're locked in here with me" energy that you don't often get the opportunity to witness.
