May be one of the more absurd arguments I've heard. If we all said - too complicated, not enough return - we'd all be out of jobs. The cost benefit analysis is always important, but I don't think that's what he is advocating.

I have a friend who "writes a story to the house" before she moves telling it about some of the people who lived there and the memories. She puts it behind an outlet for the next owners to find. I love the idea!

A reminder that the E. Jean Carroll case is the opposite of the norm. Much more common is the alleged rapist or abuser suing the accuser (or the press) for defamation. Another reason why we need good anti-SLAPP laws that apply in all state and federal courts.

Huge scoop by Erin Reed. Ohio and Michigan Republicans announced their intention to expand bans on gender affirming care to everyone. This isn't about protecting children, and never was. Bans on youth care were the first step of an attempt by the right to legislate trans people out of existence.
