people keep telling me i'm wrong but any change to the ticket raises substantial litigation risk. i don't care if you think a pledged delegate can switch affiliations after the primary but before the convention and, more importantly, Sam Alito sure as hell doesn't care what you think.

The stupidity of this plan illustrates the problem with the concept itself. We all cast our ballots in the primaries. Forcing out the guy we chose, and then trying to run a PT Barnum reality show so we don't get "stuck" with the highly competent Black woman next to him is suicide.

This is marvelous. Class action alleges Walmart systematically puts one price on the shelf, and charges a little more at the cash register. Walmart claims consumers can see the prices actually charged, so no harm. CA7 rejects.

Days after the Chevron ruling a corporate healthcare system - which doesn’t pay any taxes despite being a profit-driven business - is now suing Medicare so that they can collect more *tax dollars* w/o having to meet the standards of care set by CMS. Some CMS regulations may be silly but this is bad.

In March 2023, CJ Beryl Howell in DC ruled that Trump attorneys must testify to the grand jury pursuant to the crime-fraud exception. Today, Judge Aileen Cannon rules that because Trump "disputes" that finding, *she* can revisit it.
