Even if it fails, Heritage - whose president just threatened mass violence on TV if anyone opposes the judicial coup - is planning a massive push to deny any wriggle room with nominee selection. The people who treat this like some genteel debating society with comity and deference are failing us.

I think it’s time to understand it may be Trump/Flynn 2024 and if it is that would be a signal that it is a fully realized and moving coup not an election in any sense.

Can’t Trump just hire mercenaries to threaten state officials in 2024 as a candidate and whether he wins or not there’s no way to cover the evidence hurdle? They blocked motive, and since he’s a former president they can find a way to exclude all evidence

Just been texting a normie friend from Blue state…he doesn’t understand significance of the immunity decision. Thinks “unofficial acts” means something. I suspect that’s a common misconception now…public doesn’t understand how deep this immunity goes, for Trump only.

Sad fact from first 26 pages, the last thing that restrained Hitler was an 85 year old! Then they noted how young Hitler’s deputies were. Sounds familiar

Went to bookstore looking for something in paperback and came back with Erik Larson’s book about American diplomats in Berlin 1933. I’m thinking about 1933 so much now anyways might as well read about what specific things happened

this entire crusade against diversity in hiring and admissions is based on the supposition that all white men are necessarily more qualified than any nonwhite person or woman who might be considered for the job. like, this lawsuit more or less states that outright.

I would love to know the identity of these tenured law professors who claim Northwestern won't hire them because they're white guys, and that it hires undeserving people of color instead Like, perhaps Northwestern won't hire you because you're odious, bigoted, and not as smart as you think you are?

also, as we point out in this piece, Trump repeatedly told senior officials in his administration (thank goodness there wasn’t a “yes sir” uttered in these cases) to shoot protesters or migrants in the legs… www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...

Under today’s immunity decision, Biden could order AG Garland to immediately prosecute Thomas and Alito for corruption and insurrection. (Official act). If Garland refuses, Biden can fire him and replace him with someone who will. (Official act) I would suggest Elie Mystal.
