I really want a source on it that isn’t a site run by TERFs. It’s not that they’re automatically wrong about EVERYTHING, but…well…I admit I have a hard time extending their reporting the benefit of the doubt that I usually would.
With anything like this, there's a rush to judgment that I don't think is warranted. That being said, the details all sound really fucking predatory and disgusting.
I don't want to have a political perspective on this. I just recognize that I don't know what happened, but it sounds very, very bad.

I know it’s not the popular opinion, but-was there a police report about this? And if not, was there a good reason for not reporting it? Because at a certain point you can say that you were too intimidated to report it to the authorities, but then why were you ok reporting it to a podcaster?
Considered that everything anyone supposedly involved is reported to have said (I feel those qualifiers are necessary here) comes from one very sketchy source, I’m trying to wait for reputable reporting.
I’ve been agonizing about this, as a former assault victim; but I don’t trust TERFs.
Imma bet money it's TERFs trying to pull the "this MAN was rude to a WOMAN in 1974 once and must PAY" card in order to have us lefties tear at each other's throats and delegitimize one of the big voices pushing back against fascist bigotry on Airstrip One.
A little part of me always thought it was weird just HOW approachable he was online, considering how famous he is. But this is still shocking. I fully believe it though, I hope these women are getting the support they need.
