I’m not a physicist but I play one on my podcast, The New Quantum Era. My cohost and I talk with researchers working on quantum computing, which is just as mind-blowing as you might think.

Ah, FB memories serving up some winners. This is what an itemized $1,330,000 NICU hospital bill looks like (only 96 days to get there). The apple is there for scale. Here’s why I share it. Too many ppl don’t know abt lifetime caps and pre-existing bans. Bc the STILL-VULNERABLE ACA banned them.

Biden has a remarkable climate record. He has also failed to sell it to the public — even to the subset of the public that cares about climate change. Even a friendly press cannot do this for him; ultimately, the candidate must be able to make the case. I wrote about it: heatmap.news/politics/bid...

Adam Liptak should be fired for this. It's not some sort of minor technical error or a debatable issue. He's simply lying.

I know very few people saw it but Biden was sharp and focused and did not drool once today in his speech at the NATO Summit. The dude is fine. Stop panicking. He’s got this.

I mean, how else could the Dilberito fail in the market, if not for a woke mob cancel culture conspiracy of feminazis, BLM and George Soros?

“someone who has never indicated any interest in seeking elected office?” She has repeatedly stated she has no intent to run for anything. Probably why voters feel she’d be a good candidate- historically, people who have sought our power have NOT been the best person upon which to bestow power.

Newsletter: Goldman Sachs has called BS on Generative AI, and I believe that it's time that everybody follows suit - generative AI is unreliable, unsustainable, requires an entire rebuild of America's power grid, and is most decidedly not the future.

Look at that headline, pure SEO baby food. They'd have editors out there doing Tiktok dances if they thought it would goose the Google search rankings for this thing. Utterly debased

My Solomonic view is that NYT—perhaps the president’s primary persecutor recently—showed its whole ass with this swiss-cheese Parkinson’s specialist story. It’s blatantly copied from right-wing charlatans, unvetted. And a nimbler White House and campaign would be making it pay dearly for that.

Curious how France is described as political chaos because two parties with ≈60% of the seats in Parliament will negotiate a PM, whereas Netanyahu is always described as the will of the Israeli people, rather than the negotiated choice among eight parties with 53% of the seats.

Yes, the NYT crusades against Biden's age. Beyond Trump being unfit for office, they could write a thousand stories about Dobbs losing at the ballot box. They bury any real reporting in fucked up headlines and dozens of dogshit op ed hit pieces.

So basically, Macron scared the bejesus out of sane France and they came together to assure the fascists would not win. That is what should be happening in the US if we would get our act together and tell media's baying bloodhounds to fuck off and prioritize democracy. www.lemonde.fr/en/france/ar...
