essentially providing support and defense to someone who was fairly obviously trolling for an emotional responce. Well, congrats, you helped them succeed. I'm thoroughly pissed off now. NOT ONCE did I support Gaiman. I want facts and truth. I CANNOT take the word of repeated liars & TERFS as truth.

Where have I supported him? Seriously, what the fuck. You have some gall stating that. I bluntly don't give a single flying fuck about Gaiman. I haven't even read his books. But NOBODY deserves to be flayed alive based on rumor. And the source IS UNDENIABLY AN ENEMY OF THE TRANS COMMUNITTY.

Then clearly state your position, full stop. Mine is: Gaiman could have done this. However, the source is at best questionable, and at worst totally unreliable. Until we have trustworthy corroboration, assumption of guilt and vilification of the purported perpetrator is unreasonable. State yours.

I find it STUNNING that so many people are willing to believe a rumor (and until corroboration, that's ALL it is) from a right wing TERF podcast, with a history of lying, just because it brings down another cis white male. What is wrong with you?

Nope. I'm quite aware I can't know for certain. But ruining someone's life on the basis of rumor is equally evil. And I'm done with both of you. I haven't, am NOT, supporting Gaiman. I just want corroboration and more facts.

AND THAT'S MY POINT. THIS IS NOT A COURT OF LAW. I have serious issue with destroying someone's life on the basis of rumor. If the victims make statements (with their identities concealed, of course), that'll be a different story. All we got now is a right-wing TERF podcast KNOWN FOR LYING.

The fact that you're relying on the 'patriarchy conspiracy' argument and belief-set, removes any legitimacy from your position in my eyes. Could Gaiman have done this? Yes. DID he? We'll soon find out. But hysteronics and hyperbole won't find the truth.

It is a faulty system, and skewed by (yes patriarchal) negative behavior. But accusations like this destroy lives. One should be VERY careful, align the facts and have the evidence. Both facts and evidence are lacking here. I am NOT defending Gaiman. I AM indicting the source.

I've been trans since I was able to figure out what the feelings meant. I was 13. I'm 59 now. I'm not upholding partiarchy to expect that reasonable corroboration is required, & quotes FROM THE VICTIMS THAT HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED. In the US, it's 'Innocent until proven guilty' for a reason.
