I saw the charred land in person near Boca Chica beach around the SpaceX launch site, when I was in town reporting on proposed LNG projects. Special place, full of wildlife, huge bird migration corridor. SpaceX just incinerates the landscape. Few challenge them, and those who do, face blowback

A rainforest wetland in Scotland is now heaving with life after beavers returned.

As the wondrous "beaver effect" becomes ever more apparent across the rest of the northern hemisphere, for how long will we in Ireland cover our eyes + ears?

An example of the sort of mysteries encountered regularly in a daily relationship with nature: one young rowan seems ailing, while many others growing nearby are fine. There's no obvious reason, and chances are the afflicted tree will recover. 🌎

Sharing the land again with this exquisite cat would add a spark of frisson to our own lives, expanding our imaginative universe into new realms.

Let's do this. #Rewilding 🌍

The Government of Denmark had just agreed to a tax on livestock emissions. €40 in 2030, rising to €100 in 2035. Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen says: "We will be the first country in the world with a CO2 tax on agriculture.” Looks like New Zealand is now distinctly behind in that race.
