I saw someone who looked at my blood work and was like "are your eosinophils always that high" and I told them yes and they gave me a med for that. Last checkup we realized I hadn't had a good script for an inhaler in two years!

This. We rely on private enforcement to do the job of the much more robust regulatory apparatus used in other countries. Our approach is much less consistent, much less efficient, and much less effective. But it's also much less fair.

T&S, inherently, is a biased process: it involves someone's definitions of what should and shouldn't be actioned. There is no such thing as neutral, unbiased moderation. Anyone who says otherwise is simply asserting societal prejudices that are declared "objective" because of who holds them.

I also have the SUV version, great for emergency lugging of child and dog as well as grocery trips, mine has a swing up push bar. I am thinking of replacing it with a stroller type but I definitely wanna keep push as an option

The kid has a dance knack, they are not better at technically it than their peers but they ... know how to connect their body and heart in a way I can't imagine. I am happy for them and it makes me worried but it is just so clearly a thing they feel really alive doing.

I have a collegen disorder and between the weirdness that causes in my anatomy and the proprioceptive issues I just don't pitch match. I also have had three musically adept spouses. They have all come to understand it just isn't gonna improve and that I am not gonna stop singing.

But the nation was founded in part on the idea that courts can be wrong. I do want my State Supreme Court to do justice in ways beyond what my first grader can understand. However I ALSO want it to do justice in ways my first grader can understand, like saying sorry and doing better.
