Tell me I'm wrong: A bunch of the media and donor class panicked, for good reason, after the debate. Made a big coordinated push to make Biden step aside. Didn't work, wounding pride of lots of big egos. Now too miffed to concede so stuck denying that Biden can win to justify continued aid to Trump.

(Power sued somebody for calling her a Nazi on Twitter. During discovery she turned over WhatsApp messages, some of which were about her love of Mein Kampf. She also turned out to be using a groyper Twitter alt to hassle people. She is now bankrupt and even cryptofash Compact Mag doesn’t want her.)

It was warm, although sticking to the shade was good. Met a friend down at the Essex Street Market ( food stands with cheese, Scandinavian fish, and other stuff), then a stop at Economy candy-old fashioned candy of all kinds, lunch at Russ & Daughters Cafe then finally a stop at the R&D store.

One of the things I can’t get my head around watching the Biden/Trump debate prep from afar is everyone in the media treating it as normal. Just another Presidential debate. The first debate between a sitting president and a felon and insurrectionist is not normal. It should be watched with horror.
