Point of care risk assement process is laughable. When the respirators are locked up & doled out by an administrative gatekeeper, enforcing a policy of only use respirators for AGMP, there is no individual discretion.

“We aerosolized SARS-CoV-2 & pulled it through masks. After 1hr we were able to recover infectious virus from fabric masks but not an N95 or surgical mask. When we pressed artificial skin against the masks we found viral RNA but no infectious virus on the skin.” #MasksWork

The new COVID variant seems to be evading immunity from vaccines and past infections. COVID cases are up 250% in NYC. Remember the more you get covid your risk for long covid increases significantly.

My cable company has a channel dedicated to a view of a saltwater aquarium tank. It's a multi hour loop. I love the fish, I don't want the maintenance. So I watch TV fish instead.

I have not eaten in a restaurant or went to a bar since pre-covid. I know I’m high risk so I avoid those places. I mask literally everywhere I go outside the home. It doesn’t take much virus to get a high enough dose to cause an infection. It’s not worth the risk for me.

Just watched Oppenheimer. Overall, liked it as a movie. Just ordered American Prometheus to see how accurate it was to the book. Having Feynman in the background on bongos made me laugh. A little easter egg. The subtone towards the end of examining the myth making process caught my attention.
