I am legitimately cheered to know I'm not alone. I practiced piano for 30 minutes today for the first time in over a year and I got further in making music than I have in hours upon hours of trying to learn 5 basic guitar chords. Frustrating!

Gonna be honest, I will pick a jury over a bench trial basically any time there's an actual dispute over facts and evidence. I know it is trite propaganda and I know our criminal system is a fucking disaster but the jury system really is one of the few halfway decent things we have.

Anyway I supported Sanders, and then I supported Warren but was pretty annoyed to see the the mass drop-out she participated in that helped propel Biden, but I also don't think Sanders realistically would have won even without that push.

Thankfully, Trump isn't immortal, and I don't think his particular brand of danger can survive him. Republicans will have to do soul searching after he dies, and I think they'll revert to being shitty but not existentially dangerous to the country.
