Started a 3d morphology focus group. Dentistry was all over us to assist with bite mark analysis. Shame on us for never organising follow up meetings...
I get why this is the case, but it’s so wild that one million Americans died of COVID because of Trump’s handling of the pandemic, and it’s not even remotely an issue in this election.
What a country!
I really don’t think most people realize just how hard the boot will come down if Trump and the Republicans win the election. Most people have never experienced the totalitarian surveillance state with the power to reach into their homes and minds at will they are telling us is their plan.
Ouch! All the best! These "small" unnoticed outcomes from covid make me even more furious at the grifters. And how many people don't even make the connection.
Best of luck with this. Serious advice, is not to push through the symptoms. Don't stop, but build up. The wife tried to get back to running against advice, knocked her back. She's back at Marathon fit again, but it took time.
On July 4, 1776, the United States declared its independence from Great Britain.
On November 5, 2024, let's declare our independence from Donald Trump.
Not the most terrifying thing but perhaps the most infuriating: every single thing we said about these fascist Republican fucks has been proved out and all the people who assured us that what is happening would never happen smoothly pivoted to yes it's happening but it will be fine.
For the same reason handlers of search & rescue dogs occasionally have volunteers put themselves in a position to be "found" alive in a grim disaster scene -- to keep up morale so that these dogs keep working -- I give you this screen shot from the BOP showing the current location of Steve Bannon.
Google is just straight up getting less functional and I don't mean that search returns a bunch of garbage, I mean that searching my Gmail inbox doesn't work right, when I click on links they sometimes freeze instead of forwarding, etc.
Gmail search without fail fails to return any results from senders whom I can see in the latest content of the inbox, I just want something from a week or three ago. Don't know about the links, and will have to check permissions on Drive.
Newsletter: The Shareholder Supremacy has eaten the world, turning the tech industry into the playground of do-nothing management dictators that see human beings as assets and the customer as subordinate to growth - all inspired by GE’s Jack Welch. www.wheresyoured.at/tss/
I wrote to the Tractor Supply board today. Here is what I sent. Even if you've only ever bought one thing there, I encourage you to write, as a customer.
Ironically, anyone who identifies with any group in any way will be on the chopping block. It's just your position in the queue that needs to be decided. Those in denial are just not aware they're in the queue with others they think should be in the queue.

I heard it was a secret refuelling and repair base for flying saucers. After the Aliens finished rescuing Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, the Yeti, and other cryptids, they didn't need it any more so it was shut down. And so nothing weird happens there anymore. 🤣🤣
I keep seeing journalists and others take things that #OpenAI employees say at face value. Just given the data we have it's safe to assume that everyone working there in any kind of managerial role is a compulsive liar. They are even less credible than the outputs their products generate.
i've always loved the Terry Pratchett Boots Theory of socioeconomics but it's really striking now how it's slowly becoming inaccurate bc so many companies straight up do not make good products anymore. not even rich people can buy things that aren't designed to break in 3 years bc they don't exist
It’s so cool that cities are like “pweeease only turn your AC on if you’re actively dying and don’t go below 79 🥺🤘🏻💗” while the AI nobody asked for is slurping up the power grid to make 1 image of a girl with 5 tits
It would be super cool if the tech media would simply stop credulously repeating every value-juicing statement C-Suites make like they’re the in-house PR department. The only difference between these hollow promises and the guy crying, “The end is near!” on the street corner is funding.
to everyone using glaze like me, i suggest you update to 2.1 (glaze.cs.uchicago.edu/downloads.html) because there's a new attack specifically aiming at glazed artwork, trying to take the effect off.
How does a plastic product that only contains 10% recycled material get to claim that it actually contains 33% recycled material?
The industry's creative accounting, explained ⤵️
8/ Scientists say the key to solving the plastics crisis is to make less plastic. 100+ nations are working on a UN treaty to tackle the crisis. The plastics industry wants to keep the focus on waste management, including chemical recycling.
One very snarky closed Jewish FB group had a "which 10 commandments should we put up in classrooms??" conversation
Guilt sacrifices, no mixing wool and linen, sending the mother bird away before taking eggs, constructing a parapet, no shellfish...
