Politicians wages should be tied to minimum wage. When it goes up, they also get a raise. Their wage $174000. 40hr week = $83.65/hr. Min wage $8/hr 40hr week = $16,640/year.

We need a national wage law that ties the minimum wage to the GDP. It’d be around $26/hr. We also need a maximum wage law that caps ceo/politician salaries at 10x the minimum wage, so if they want a raise, everyone else gets one too.

My problem with the minimum wage is that giant Corporations will make excuses and price gouge people. They will pin the blame on "inflation". I believe a better solution is actually providing Universal healthcare, Universal childcare, Universal Basic Income and Universal Basic housing.
