I find that if you want to watch the best TV shows, you should look for the ones that generate absolutely no online discourse whatsoever. I'm watching Patriot right now. It occupies some sort of quirky cultural quagmire between The Americans and Incredible String Band. It's terrific.

Just because I've seen it from some well meaning people: be careful overemphasising the pro-Palestine independents as a Muslim phenomenon. It doesn't rank highly on top issues even among British Muslims and is a cross community issue.

It's overwhelming how much there is going on in this song. 20 years after hearing it i'm still noticing strange little parts I never clocked before. I got into music through bands like Pavement and Sonic Youth who aped these kind of sounds. I feel home when I hear this.
