I think my favorite flavor of Trump voter is the person who a) is very upset about high grocery prices and b) is fired up about Trump's plan to deport 50% of the nation's agricultural workforce.
My favorite is definitely the one who brags about how his small business growth has been better than ever these last few years and his stocks are soaring…
…and then launches into a temper tantrum about how Biden has torched the economy with socialist policies.
Not that I know anyone like this…
My favorite is the construction worker who is seeing more construction happening now than ever before due to the infrastructure bills, but is voting for Trump because he hates all the traffic the construction is causing.
grocery bills are going to be so cheap when we *checks notes* deport all the agricultural workers and *stares at notes harder* .. uh ... *squints harder* um ... replace income tax with tariffs
my favorites, i guess, are the republican united states senators who are mostly chihuahuas yapping around trump. but every now & then, like post-Jan 6, they whirl at him & yap & snap, angrily. a few days later, they're his hoard of rat dogs again. (lookin at you Lindsey, MoscowMitch... et al)
I think my second favorite flavor of Trump voter is the person who a) is upset about high housing costs and b) wants Trump to deport a large proportion of the construction industry's workforce.
I heard an intriguing definition of "propaganda" recently that it is "rhetoric designed to promote an ideological goal via means that in reality undermine that goal" and this is such a great example
Trump’s stated policy goals are never treated seriously by most media. It’s always “woah that’s way too evil/stupid so he probably doesn’t ACTUALLY mean it”
Mad enough about economics to absolutely undermine any hope of recovering from the smugly evil shit Stephen Miller is joyously waiting to unleash on the Nation. So much of Trump's plan is about waiting to do the 'Hold My Beer' to Brexit.
