I have so little regard for companies that obviously have the infrastructure to respect my privacy wishes because of their legal obligations in other jurisdictions, but choose not to extend those rights to all of their users. It's galling that the business side of the AP doesn't do better.

We are fortunate to have American Avocets nest around many of our marshes. This avocet was busy foraging in the tall grasses and chasing all other large birds away. Here it is responding to a very innocent white pelican who soared over the marsh!πŸͺΆ

Not sure I've ever posted this pair together: Urodus parvula moths make this gorgeous cocoon, and are handsome black creatures themselves. I found the unopened cocoon early last year, and the moth emerged some time later. It's such a cool creation. πŸ–€ 🌿πŸ§ͺπŸ¦‹
