The best possible thing for Biden to do after that decrepit debate performance is to show himself on camera, frequently, in his element, so that people dismiss the debate as an aberration. And he should get angry. A lot.

I only reply there. I gently pushed back against a well-regarded and widely read writer on the left in the hopes they were only mistakenly sharing right wing propaganda with their audience. In response they tripled down on the both sidesism so I guess I’m just done with that place forever now.

I read it as him losing himself and becoming a worse person. The speech his ex gives about how you can change your personality by pretending to be someone else and eventually you become them. He changed into a killer because he pretended to be one — I didn’t think it felt morally justified.

I say this every year: when you are doing an In Memoriam montage, ONLY SHOW THE PEOPLE YOU ARE PAYING TRIBUTE TO. Why is this always so hard? This one ended with a list of names that were so deep into the background of the TV image, you'd need a 4K TV and magnifying glass to make them out.
