I'm so brain-poisoned by politics that "median voter" has become a slur in my mind. Waiting on someone at 711 holding up the entire line by not knowing what they want or how to pay for it & thinking to myself the entire time "this is median voter behavior"
Boomers who ask the cashier at a fast casual restaurant what's good on the menu like they're at some fancy restaurant is some extremely "median voter behavior."
i just always think of the peltola voter who was like "i'm pro-choice, pro-nature, pro-native-rights, think vaccines make you gay and joe biden is an alien robot"
I hope you feel ok soon, I am excited to see that some people are waking up. I'm hoping to help return some to humanity by giving information and trying to avoid confrontation. Their vehicle of disinformation is fear that manifests as hate, it's how propaganda works
"Being able to vote and have my vote counted is awfully nice-- better than an outright dictatorship, anyway.
But then again, Jeff Bezos could really use another tax cut.
Who could possibly decide?"
or in those unfortunate moments where i'm forced to eat Subway and I can hear the customer 7 spots ahead of me saying "oh, you have different bread? whoa, what kind? and different cheese? whoa, what kind?"
Right. Plus, there hardly any “undecideds” left. Elections get decided on whose base shows up more, not who “undecideds” swing for.
Separate issue are “independent” voters. The media fawns over them, but they’re nearly all Republicans who don’t like Trump (but will probably vote for him anyway).
