This is equally impressive seen from afar, where you can gauge the scale of the ridge and the impressive peak it leads to. Worth visiting if you are in Switzerland

Bluesky keeps being a bit of a mystery to me, but I like the vibe. So anyways, we just announced our game Castle Come. Its about mechas fighting each other to find some kind of salvation. #gamedev #indiegames #gaming

Games are a medium. You can make art with the medium. Some drawings are illustrative, others are art. Some books are art, others are instructional. Some games are art, some games are for, say, medical neurofeedback exercises. Etc.

How freaking gorgeous is this worm?

How are these guys allowed to roam around in the dark, deep sea where noone sees them?! Life is wild.

I love this: there is an innate value to making choices. Obviously, it helps if you make really good choices, but just making any choices at all is useful in a creative endeavour: it maintains momentum and defines the constraints of the work remaining ahead.

People get into arguments about the stats of pieces of military hardware on the forums of the game War Thunder. They then back up their argument by leaking classified documents to which they have access as members of their nation's military. This has happened, no joke, at least a dozen times.

one thing that really sucks is that conceptually, as a sff exploration, the idea of a robot asking if it could ever be human and thereby proving its humanity for even wondering at the question is something that's always tugged at my heartstrings. and now that impulsive pathos is a tool for theft

If you tell someone to “Google it” at this point you’re telling them to look up five ads and some AI-generated bs instead of the actual thing they want to know. *old guy takes long hit on the bong* “Back in my day, search engines used to find things besides the wreckage of late-stage capitalism.”
