I spent 25 years of my career dealing with families and their children who were victims of peadophiles. These inhuman monsters wreck lives. The psychological damage lasts a life time. Anyone who thinks those who have committed these crimes is suitable for any public office is totally deluded.

James Timpsonn is a good choice for prisons minister. But the new Govt has to listen and act. It was the lack of either of those things that the Tories failed so abysmally and deliberately on doing. Obviously there weren't enough bribes in prison reform to interest them.

I am a huge fan of that lady. She's brilliant and does it in a way that is both charming and devastating, which is a rare set of skills. I'd love to see her in a Presidential primary the next time the field is open. I'm not opposed to her as Kamala Harris' running mate in 2028 either.
