All right, Bluesky — who here has purchased a vehicle from a defunct (or currently going defunct/at-risk) company?
Got (or had) a Fisker, Lordstown or a different car from a company that's gone kaput? I want to talk to you: sschrader@cars.com
We had a Saturn for a while after they ended. Didn’t have any connectivity. All that was different was “go to the Buick place”, but we never went to the dealer anyway.
i had a brand new 2006 scion xA in 2006 and a very used 2006 pontiac grand prix gt in 2016 so some real highs and lows there but none i feel competent talking about. it would just be how much i loved the xA and how much i hated the grand prix
Had a scion but the FRS is so similar to the Toyota and Subaru that it never crossed my mind to be concerned. But owning a Fisker right now? I’d be worried
Does it count if the company left the U.S. 30 years before I bought it? (Asking for a friend. Although I know a guy who bought a Medallion in 1990 and it was in the junkyard by 1992.)
I once owned and loved a Suzuki-built, Chevrolet-badged Geo Metro
I once owned and loved a Daewoo-built, Pontiac-badged LeMans
both were awesome automobiles
