How do they.know it's stuck? Maybe it just likes the view. Unless part of the masonry it used to climb up there has fallen down you'd think it would go back.down the same way it went up.

In Iceland there are some tiny islands near Heimay they regularly take sheep to and use some sort of pulley situation to get them up the cliffs to the grazing land.
