Isn't it interesting that they're trying to frame themselves as initiating *that* war instead of the Civil War? Wannabe Confederates still don't like being called what they are. Probably because it reminds them they lost the first time.

Rep. Clyburn stating today that if Joe steps down it must be Kamala Harris is huge news. He righted the 2020 Biden campaign and seems to be setting the groundwork for her. To me, it is the first evidence that Biden is considering stepping down.

It's not just the Supreme Court that's corrupt. Today, in Louisiana, another radical Trump appointed judge decided that dirty LNG projects should go forward, even if they poison Americans.
A corrupt legal system benefits fossil fuel corporations.

Denver gave people experiencing homelessness $1k/month. A year later, nearly half had housing.
They also had fewer ER visits, nights spent in a hospital, and jail stays.
The report estimates that this reduction in public service use SAVED the city $589k.

Yes, if you don’t like the choice between Trump and Biden, think of it as picking between Stephen Miller and Pete Buttigieg, Steve Bannon and Deb Haaland, Michael Flynn and Lina M. Khan, Alex Jones and Jessica Rosenworcel, or Brett Kavanaugh and Ketanji Brown Jackson. Both sides are not “the same”

A 5 yr Belgian study showed the BIG impact of increasing vehicle weight on road deaths & injuries. When a person on a bike or walking is hit by a pick-up, the risk of serious injury increases by 90% compared to a car. The risk of death goes up by 200%.

I have written Biden and my Senators three times urging them to end the war and support for Netanyahu, get aid to Gazans and hostages released. My point above is that there are other morally important things at stake in the upcoming election.

I know it is a catastrophe. I've written Biden & my Senators 3 times to stop the war, end support for Netanyahu. I see Biden admin working for a cease fire, Gazan aid, & hostage release and tragically failing. I also see a difficult problem, decades in the making, & don't know what will work.

To you I'd say, how does electing a white supremacist, Christian nationalist, authoritarian president who fully supports Netanyahu and Israeli extremism make any of this better? As bad as it is now, Trump would make it worse for Palestinians and much worse for Arab Americans.

Republican have controlled the house for the last two years, it's their fault there's no fed legislation. Republican packed SCOTUS legislating from the bench could be a problem for the rest of our lives. Biden and dems will at least try to codify Roe if they win.

House Republicans famously haven't passed anything signicant and, if they did, the Senate could vote it down. Yes, terrible 2024 Senate map, but Dems still have a decent chance to retain. Roe the Vote could swing it.

But you refer to them as xyz domestic issues when they have immense impact on people, entire ecosystems, civil/human rights, democracy. Biden admin is working for a cease fire, Gazan aid, hostage release, postwar coalition/rebuild, AND is failing. Failure in an extremely difficult situation.

Also, Biden/dems will restore reproductive rights & protect family planning from Trump/Christian nationalists. Biden has failed to restrain Israel while working for a cease fire, Gazan aid, hostage release. Trump/Reps back Netanyahu with no mercy for Gaza. Trump is a complete moral disaster.

Is it possible you undervalue the moral weight of fighting climate change, protecting democracy, secular and diverse judges, voting rights, regulating corps/finance, support for Ukraine, affordable healthcare, SS/Medicare, LGBTQ+ rights, unions, reducing poverty? Republicans are against all this.
