The students at my school did this. They negotiated for it, they got it, and they're disbanding their encampment now that they're done. Not one arrest. No police. The first campus in the UC system to do it.

Law enforcement agencies have been planting undercover officers within leftist organizations since at least the early 20th century, worldwide, with a key aim to agitate the groups towards unlawful conduct. NYC Mayor’s claims of “outside agitators” should be laughed at. It’s deeply unserious.

I think there are many reasons for this, not least of which is that many of us have reached our tipping point in knowing that Israel is intentionally pursuing genocide by all available means. What’s happening on campuses is something new and horrific in its own right.

The most common penalty issued by universities against students who have sexually assaulted another student is a one-semester suspension. The second most common penalty is requiring the student to write a reflection paper. Those penalties are only enforced after extensive due process.
