We had an assembly with a first amendment expert and I asked whether it violates the 1A if a public school Asst principal tears down signs hung up in accordance to school rules? Ours had just taken down a bunch of signs celebrating Nat’l coming out day. 10 years later we had gay marriage!

Bravo to the kid. The cop was probably expecting students to give common sense answers like"punching someone" and was going to be like "nope. 'Assault' just means making someone afraid you will touch them without their permission. That's why if you look at me funny I can arrest you for assault."😠

This is from 2017 and was an Ohio State University class. The question was particularly about a then recently released video of Columbus police officer Zach Rosen kicking a handcuffed man in the head. Initially suspended for 3 days Rosen was later fired. But less than a year later he was reinstated
