This is fun over here; I might pitch a tent. I was a director in film and tv, now retired. I still have things to say about that and anything else. Some of them, well a few of them, might be worth reading. No guarantees. Twitter refugee here on asylum.

Mr Sagal would be mortified, if he were to understand that shitting on others work and achievements blinds him to a good portion of the world. What a way to go through life.

There are many things that infuriate me about the pundit class right now, but probably one of the top on my list: Project 2025 has posted their plans for every single federal department on their website. They have a training academy for prospective appointees. Where are the hard hitting op-eds?

As I repeat ad nauseam, "AI is the new NFT". Next year's fad will be something else, and something we hope will be cheaper and without Sam Altman talking.

Listen, if the Biden campaign wanted to quell concerns about his age, they would have put him out there, like in the post-debate pressroom, a rally, an event at the Stonewall monument, a national address, a medal of honor ceremony, a meeting with governors, another rally, and televised interview.

Trump's supporters pre-Jan 6 spent months sharing blueprints for guillotines and gallows, planning chemical weapons attacks on the tunnels beneath the white house, and discussing the most painful ways to kill Pence, Pelosi, and Schiff. Trump egged them on. I personally don't want round 2.

The effort of the SCROTUS SIX to coverup Trump's crimes and get him re-elected is both obvious and over-the-top. Subtlety be damned. The question must be asked, was quid pro quo involved to secure their nominations?

Labour’s campaign was extremely cautious, and given past defeats I understand why. But now the UK center-left has a huge majority in a system with many fewer choke points than in the U.S. Let’s hope they’re ready to govern like the dominant party they now are

Ultimately the GOP understands a path exists to steal the Presidency by mucking up the balloting and electoral count to kick the result to the house of representatives (where, voting by state delegations, they win automatically). Any legal shenanigans exist to enable this plan. It's treason.

a quick lesson for the New York Times here: the different between a "misstatement" and a "lie" is willfulness, which is why it is eminently reasonable to say that the New York Times editorial room is full of lying fascist propagandists.

The SCOTUS SUX want you to know that originalism means there had to be a king, so they’re merely correcting the founders who in this rare case of American History were wrong. They never wanted to get rid of the king, says Clarence Thomas, who was there.

Every day proves Thaddeus Stevens right: there should've been big Nuremberg-style public trials of leading Confederates, accompanied by seizures of the assets of all pro-Confederate large landowners and businessmen, which should then have been distributed to freed slaves as compensation.

I don't want some egghead bureaucrat telling me whether there's poison in the water I drink. Ideally I'd want that decided by a 29yo judge who went to a "biblical law school" and does not believe dinosaurs existed, and then to have that decision reaffirmed six years later by the Supreme Court.

But I can assure you, if Trump wins, you will quickly find out how very much NOT the same he and Biden are. Like so fast it will astonish you.
