Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals is on Monday in Florida.
If Florida loses, they officially choke a 3-0 series lead, lose game 7 at home, and lose the Stanley Cup Final for the second year in a row.
If Edmonton wins, it's the first time a Canadian team wins the Cup in 30 years.
You should watch.

The important part is how many dogs will fit in it, and the angle of the glass when the one big dog licks them.

Creative minds find ways to convey meaning that is often just ahead of dictators.
The N...s went after artists and scientists, just for this reason.
It isn't about not having nice things.
It's about control.

I hope every lab tech involved in every drudge job that make these things possible knows what a gift they are to so many.
It isn't scintillating in a lot of cases, yet all of it is so necessary to get to the miracle.

Bon voyage to the weird, the unexpectedly elegant, the orthogonally sympathetic characters who came out of his encounters with otherwise broken stories.
No actor, however amazing, can save a script from being bad. But some actors can find something in scripts whose good qualities are buried deep.

There's a symmetry to it.
It all started with a sharp stick.
Then some guy finds a stick with two branches.
Then another guy tricks his out to have a ridiculous number of branches.
Meanwhile another guy quietly carves a spoon.

In the cold waters of the Pacific coast of the US & Canada are forests of giant kelp, Macrocystis pyrifera.
Under optimal conditions, they can grow as much as 2 feet (0.6 m) per day, to heights of 175 ft.
Let's talk about the weirdness of giant #kelp & how it can help us.

Humans share 70% of our DNA with zebrafish. So when you're having difficulty getting anything done, it's usually because a zebrafish is using the DNA.

In the 1930's, German chemists developed a coal liquefaction technology (with a primary goal of producing gasoline) by reacting carbon monoxide with hydrogen at high temps.
Chemist Arthur Imhausen found he could use the paraffin fraction (C9âC16) to make edible margarine from coal.
