Stop proposing wonky solutions to replacing Biden. If it's anything, it's Biden dropping out and endorsing Harris, and hoping the delegates follow suit. There is polling evidence that this should happen. There is no evidence for your thing you made up in your head and somehow got published.

Basically the premise is that the people who answer polls are not typical of their demographics, and that they’re more conservative.
I can believe it but I can’t say I have a strong case

Sure, I’ve seen the screenshot of that poll and a lot of discussion about how ridiculous it is

“He’s just stayed too long in the job,” David Remnick muses between bites of Waverly Inn frittata, “and there’s a whole civilization at stake.”
Anna Wintour nods thoughtfully without looking away from the fireplace. “It’s about to rain,” she says.

Not the most terrifying thing but perhaps the most infuriating: every single thing we said about these fascist Republican fucks has been proved out and all the people who assured us that what is happening would never happen smoothly pivoted to yes it's happening but it will be fine.

I think the best argument against Biden stepping down remains all the very bad arguments for him stepping down. There aren't any good arguments for it yet!

The NYT is not going to be nice just because AG Sulzberger’s ego was fed. We will have 1,001 stories between now and Election Day about how weak democrats are for running a candidate who didn’t win a Democratic primary, framed by “Trump is so powerful he caused a sitting D President to resign.”

Just unfollowed someone so fast on the other site after they shared a post talmbout people being selfish for 'fearmongering' about Project 2025 in order to get people to vote
Republicans' stated intentions are scary, but providing accurate info about them is not fearmongering! It's just the stakes!

2nd best thing is probably hammer how bad scotus is. Any policy question, turn it into "well we've gotta get better judges in there who know what the hell they're doing. They're saying trump has the power to storm the capitol but I don't have the power to forgive student loans for god's sake"

If only our news media institutions found "ex-president promises to jail and try opponents for treason if he takes back power" as newsworthy as "unnamed aide said current president gets tired after having a full day of work."

3rd party vanity presidential candidates have no chance of winning. The parties will continue to fail until they grow from the ground up. For example, the Green Party has no one in any federal or statewide office. GP officeholders: www.gpelections.org/greens-in-of...
