I miss him every day. Reading his books made me a better person. Reading them to my son is the best part of my day. It's become our ritual that cannot be missed, much like Vimes with Sam and Where's My Cow? So sorry for your loss. I lost my dad 4 years ago, and still regularly get ambushed by grief

I recently had a diagnosis of terminal cancer, and things I learned from him have been an immense aid in carrying me I have named the whole thing "An Inconvenience" partly in his honor, and he's quoted in my self-eulogy I'm glad we had him in our world, and particularly that you had him in yours

I got to meet your dad when I was 12 or so at a book signing, I told him how much I loved Truckers, Diggers and Wings. He was incredible nice and friendly. His work has brought myself and my family so much joy and as my son grows up I can't wait to introduce him to his work
