They learned nothing from 2016 where they treated the presidency like they're casting a fucking sitcom and got the best for the role because he gave them great material keeping people tuned in each week to find out what happened in the story next. Except it's not a story, it's real fucking life.

Press coverage in this country of elections in general is a fucking joke. It's treated like goddamn Sports Center. They have to artificially keep a "close race" to keep people tuned in by manufacturing controversies and overflowing small things like tan suits and teleprompters.

I am not a lawyer. I can't answer this one for sure as I'm not aware of it being tried and gone to court. HOWEVER unless you are deaf/hard of hearing, I wouldn't rely on that to work because it won't be recorded on any audio recording device.

"I want a lawyer!" I want a pony. Since we're just stating things we desire and not invoking rights. "I'm staying silent." If you say so, but you haven't invoked your right to remain silent so the cops can keep questioning you. Just staying silent doesn't count either. You MUST invoke your right.

The phrasing here is important so don't get cute or snarky! "I am invoking my right to an attorney. I am invoking my 5th Amendment right to remain silent." If you phrase it any other way, many courts have stated it doesn't cou.t.

If you don't remember Vic, he's the guy who has been banned from most anime conventions in the country for creepy behavior long before he tried to sue Funimation for refusing to hire him again because of his sexual harassment in a lawsuit he lost so bad HE owes Funimation $250,000.

The thing that's frustrating is how many actual useful products Google's killed over the years. Podcasts, Stadia, Hangouts, YouTube Gaming, Google+, URL shortener, YouTube Video Annotations, GODDAMN GOOGLE READER. But no, they're going to keep pushing Autocomplete with Delusions of Grandeur.

This is kind of a big deal for me because I've had a mental block since last year preventing me from doing...well, anything. If it wasn't for work or a favor for a friend, I just can't seem to find motivation. Even just playing guitar along to some music videos feels HUGE right now.

My knowledge isn't in direct experience with distribution but reading a bunch of filmmaking advice books. The sort of thing people who would cold-email Mara Wilson to be in their horror movie would devour. I wasn't sure if streaming helped maintain the demand for cheap horror or not.

Historically, it has been. Horror movies are pretty cheap to make compared to other genre films (karo syrup and red food dye aren't expensive). Plus a lot of people writing "how to make films" books worked during the VHS boom of the 80s/90s where any crappy horror movie could get distribution.
