Here's the latest on the forecasts along the path of totality. Nowhere will have completely perfect viewing, but northern New England and an area from northern Arkansas maybe into northern Ohio should be able to see it OK, with some high clouds veiling things a bit. And, uh, sorry, Texas.

My first reaction to the shaking was wondering if it was a big truck rumbling by. Second was realizing it was an earthquake. Third was anger/annoyance because I'd have to write about it and there's already so much going on!!
