Costa Mesa has been that way since I've lived in Orange County, and it's been spreading to neighboring communities, where they're ostensibly illegal, for a while now. Though it seemed to peak during COVID, and this year has been a bit quieter.

what are we doing here? he accidentally said million instead of billion and then immediately knew it and corrected himself. he didn’t “flub a line” and then “make an effort to correct himself,” he did the speaking equivalent of a typo that you know you’ve made and instantly correct

Watching the British election returns I feel compelled to point out that the 650 person House of Commons represents 67 million people and the 435 person House of Representatives in the United States represents 333 million. Replace the Permanent Apportionment Act of 1929. We deserve representation.
