i think the mistake a lot of people make is thinking that fighting climate chaos is a popular position. i don't think it actually is the US/Canada/UK etc. maybe it is in the abstract but the second anything becomes inconvenient (e.g. reducing usage of cars) people will fight it

I can't get over how genuinely impressed I am by X-Men '97. It could so easily have been just a cheap pop of nostalgia for the original animated series. Instead, I'd happily argue that this first season as a whole has been the best comics-to-screen adaptation Marvel's ever done, period.
