The landmark reversal nullifies all previously lawful forms of right and makes it very difficult for Americans to make ethical decisions or be generally decent human beings without facing criminal charges.

White America could not accept a multiracial pluralistic democracy and then a Black dude got elected president to send them over the edge. And now because the “nice” white folks coddled their bigoted kin, we’re all suffering.

Under today’s immunity decision, Biden could order AG Garland to immediately prosecute Thomas and Alito for corruption and insurrection. (Official act). If Garland refuses, Biden can fire him and replace him with someone who will. (Official act) I would suggest Elie Mystal.

There's nothing particularly savvy and wise and profound in the observation that Trump is a monster, and his election would have republic-endingly bad consequences to everyone living in the US, but it is still true, and it is still the most useful thing newspapers could write about the race

swing voters and undecided voters basically by definition think about and engage with politics differently than anyone on this site, anyone who writes for the ny times, and the vast majority of the times’ subscribers. otherwise they wouldn’t be undecided/swing voters.

Denver gave people experiencing homelessness $1,000 a month. Results showed that close to half of the participants secured housing, and nearly $600K saved in public service costs due to fewer ER visits & jail stays. They also saw improved mental health.

if a voter does not want a crazy dictator - and if the voter lives in a swing state, voting against the dictator by voting you moral choice might end up giving us the dictator. New York, California, not swing states - so I might vote Brother West.

Biden has been the worst on this whole Gaza thing. We should stop all weapons being sent there (let them keep their dome..let them pay for it) It is a sad thing that we need to vote for Biden because Trump is crazy wannabe dictator..but that IS our choice.

When reality is surreal and absurd, sometimes it helps to state truth out loud to process it: the Biden administration is finally admitting that the "israeli" proposal is unlikely to work, claiming it is Hamas's fault despite them largely agreeing to it while israel rejects their own (🙄) proposal

One of the really special things about Stonehenge is how close you can get to it, and how few barriers there are between you and the stones - just an ankle-high rope. Dipshits like this will ruin that for everyone. Also, it's pretty easy to both care about the environment and hate these idiots.
