Very Serious People can't resolve the cognitive dissonance involved in the knowledge that Trump was involved with Epstein's pedo ring and so pretend its a conspiracy theory or didn't happen. Trump inexplicably gave the guy who let Epstein skate a cabinet post! All out in the open!

This is the ball game folks, the authoritarian green light laid out in advance. Congress will not impeach Trump. And SCOTUS now blesses him with extraordinary latitude to do whatever he wants in power. A second administration will not be constrained by Congress, the courts, the bureaucracy or law.

Trump asked Big Oil execs to give him $1 billion for his campaign. He promised lower taxes and a rollback of Biden's climate regulations and clean energy programs in return. Trump is literally willing to take bribes in exchange for the destruction of the planet. Be warned.

I increasingly think this elex is a referendum on whether anything matters anymore. There's no rational case for Trump, but there's a loud faction on the left that just wants to burn it down. Combine that w/low info voters & Rs circling wagons & you have outlines of a calamity. Hopefully we wake up.
