I'm just talking about the primary. Since Warren had dropped out, all that was left was Biden and Bernie, and Bernie was more aligned with my ideals. But in the general I was definitely voting for Biden.

Yes, for President. That's what I meant. And I did vote more strategically in the 2020 primary. Since Warren had dropped out I voted for Bernie, since he had a better chance of beating Biden than she did.

I texted for Warren and I can't tell you how many times people told me they liked her, they wished they "could" vote for her, but they thought Biden would win. It's not a conspiracy, it's a long history of a certain kind of person being president and Dems freaking out about appealing to centrists.

This is a rant I have had for a while, but the first First Lady with a postgraduate degree, Watergate lawyer, children’s rights activist, US Senator and Secretary of State was not a weak fucking candidate. She was more progressive than Biden in every conceivable way. She got fucked over.
