Every time I take my dog in, and the most basic office visit is over $100, I understand why so many pets go without vet care. Anything not basic, including vaccines, is multiple hundreds to multiple thousands of dollars, and appointments are as hard to get as human primary care. 😒

Monopolization and weaponization of antisemitism are not methods of solving antisemitism but of shoring up power. In the diaspora, Jews rely on pluralistic, democratic principles to stay safe. Those approaches are the opposite, and so divide our coalitions and endanger us.

We are both responding to a post pointing out the ways that Hillel is *not* fine, but provides services for Jewish students that aren’t available elsewhere. You suggested Chabad as a “less polarizing” alternative, and I’m disagreeing that it’s overall less polarizing.
