I have never felt so heard. I still accidentally do the old save-as menu occasionally and rage every single time. Everyone, from a writer -- don't ever use a "free" cloud service as your default save. Back everything up in multiple places and assume anything free is stealing your content for AI.

Windows delights in gobbling up my files & photos because I won't pay them money. Already had Google 100 GB for a few yrs & it lets me see what is there & bring back if needed. Windows says "cannot open file". Very soon taking my trusty over 100 yr old hammer to windows 💃I love Chromebook 🩷😄😍

As I work from both the office and home, OneDrive is a lifesaver. You can still save it to your documents folder, but have the folder synced on OneDrive.

My favorite is when I save a document in Word at home with my Wi-Fi on and then try to open it again at work or a coffee shop with no network connected, and instead of telling me that it can't load the file because it didn't save where I told it, it crashes and won't load anything until I connect.

I get a good bit of use out of OneDrive. I also on the regular use both a desktop computer and a laptop, both of which use the same microsoft account. However, I do recognize this is not the normal situation for most PC users. >w>
