US economy added 206,000 new jobs in June!
To put that in perspective, average monthly job creation in the supposedly great 2017-2019 economy (during the Trump presidency pre-COVID) was 181,000.
The recession many predicted, and some have been hoping for, keeps not happening.

Wow, real banana republic stuff. I'm glad our presidents can launder money and associate criminally without worrying about this kind of thing.

The other day, I realized my husband and I have had 7 dogs in 45 years. Each one if them has a location - feels like a doggie bed - in our hearts. Each with it's own personality and memories. Animals are good for us. Paradoxically, they simplify, strengthen, and clarify a challenging world. πππ¦π΄π’

My brain resists what feels like anti- logic, but done with intentionality to discover the entire topography of logic, i.e. all sides, maybe it works.
Asking gamers, do we always end up appeasing motives like religion, profit, power, greed, and lack of appreciation for nature and human rights?

This is in response to an interesting post revealing that AI, so far, has made money only for Nvidia, the AI chipmaker. One response likened it to profit made selling shovels during the gold rush. I immediately thought of Levi's.

Interesting - solving hard problems still requires human imaginations? Imagination is a superpower.
Maybe we should think more about what we've done to and how to grow our imaginations in education and our lives. Likewise, imp to identify organizations, etc. that thwart or corrupt imagination.

Remember how the "retail theft crime wave" disappeared as soon as companies had to do their annual reports? That's because it's illegal to lie to shareholders.

Yes, not enough characters to point out the tragedy. My foster brother died from lack of worker protection. Extreme heat kills.
That these elite, entitled, snarky MAGA-ites (in SCOTUS) have so abandoned reason, compassion, and balance is disgusting. Let us eat cake!

OSHA proposes rule to protect workers exposed to extreme heat. The proposal comes as workers face risks from rising temperatures fueled by climate change. Biden has issued an order to prevent workplace heat deaths.

In all honesty, the thought of trying to understand how this group thinks, while important for people developing strategy, is too much for my brain. Especially in this heat. π₯πΆππ₯

A post that Mr. Trump circulated on Sunday called for Liz Cheney to be prosecuted by a military court reserved for enemy combatants and war criminals.

Watch for the American Right to begin to make claims that by overreacting to and mischaracterizing the Trump immunity decision, critics are causing βunrestβ, and then watch for them to use that to justify the things Trump does.

The simplest tool we use for water quality monitoring is the Secchi disk. The disk is lowered through the water until it cannot be seen. Then you measure the distance. This provides a reproducible measure of transparency. Our Secchi measurements are around 30 to 60cm. π§ͺ

I'm hearing voices on both blue sides. Whatever happens, we need a campaign that is connected, networked, and working now like the election is tomorrow. Just because you were behind in the polls before the debate isn't good enough. We're ready for some red meat here. Tell us what mountain to climb!
