biz was likely just as bad 3y ago but they were smart enough to gin up a lot of stories about a "theft crisis" so they could move on with mass layoffs later without taking the blame. they'll make a thousand fired cashiers resent random black folks for a decade before they'll fix a bad business plan

One thing that anti-woke “comedy” is good for is exposing differentiators between normal decent people, for whom freedom is simply the right to exist without being dehumanized and bullied, and conservatives, for whom freedom is mostly the right to dehumanize and bully others.

You forgot: 3) Negotiating ALL foreign trade agreements. Keeping raw materials and capital moving and stable is extremely complex and mostly handled by the executive branch. The benefit to the economy of having Democratic presidents is less about ideology than it is about occupational competence.
